World Premiere Screening at the 2011 Palm Springs International ShortFest and Film Market

Pleased to share that CONTRA EL MAR is an Official Selection of the Palm Springs International ShortFest and Film Market; where it will have it's World Premiere screening.

The Festival runs from June 21 – June 27. CONTRA EL MAR screens at 3:30 pm on Sunday, June 26 at the Camelot Theatres as part of the Dreams and Desires program. Director Richard Parkin will be in attendence.

CONTRA EL MAR wins Best Director and Best Screenplay at UCLA's Festival of New Creative Work

At last evening's Opening Night festivities, CONTRA EL MAR recieved awards for Best Direction and Screenplay in the graduate film category!

CONTRA EL MAR will screen next Thursday, June 9 at the Director's Guild of America as part of UCLA's Directors Spotlight Showcase.
